Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TryWired ("TryWired", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our HubSpot application and website at trywired.io (the "Service"). We are committed to handling data lawfully, transparently, and securely, including in accordance with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies.
1. Controller and processor roles
- For data about your account and your use of the Service (for example, your name, email, and billing details), TryWired is the data controller.
- For the contact and message data we process on your behalf when you connect a channel and HubSpot (for example, your customers' messages and contact details), you are the data controller and TryWired acts as your data processor, processing that data only to provide the Service and per your instructions. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.
2. Data we collect
Account data. Name, email address, company name, and account settings.
Billing data. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Polar, and we do not store your full card details. We receive limited billing information (such as the transaction status) from Polar.
Integration and connection data. When you connect HubSpot and a messaging channel, we process the credentials and tokens needed to maintain the connection (for example, HubSpot OAuth tokens and Telegram session or bot credentials), which we store in encrypted form.
Conversation data. To deliver the Service, we process the content of messages and related metadata that flow between your connected channels and HubSpot, for example message text and media, sender names, phone numbers, usernames, and platform IDs. This data is processed on your behalf as your processor.
Technical and usage data. Log data, IP address, device and browser information, and events needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
Cookies. Our website and app use necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and may use limited analytics cookies.
3. How we use data
We use personal data to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service; authenticate and secure accounts; sync conversations into HubSpot; process payments (via Polar); provide support; communicate service and account information; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); legitimate interests (to secure, operate, and improve the Service); consent (where required, for example certain communications); and legal obligation (for example, tax and compliance).
5. Data retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, accounting, and security purposes.
- Conversation and integration data is retained while your channels are connected and your account is active; when you disconnect a channel or close your account, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, subject to legal requirements.
- Webhook data received from connected platforms is retained for up to 30 days for reliability, delivery, and troubleshooting purposes, after which it is deleted.
6. How we share data: sub-processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers ("sub-processors") who help us operate the Service, under contractual data-protection obligations. Our current sub-processors include:
| Sub-processor | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Cloud hosting and infrastructure |
| HubSpot | The CRM platform you connect and sync data into |
| Polar | Payments, billing, and Merchant of Record |
| Telegram | The messaging channel you connect |
| Twilio (for SMS, when enabled) | SMS message delivery |
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
7. International data transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Personal data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Security
We take security seriously and apply industry-standard measures, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest for stored data, including credentials and tokens;
- hosting on AWS, which maintains leading security and compliance certifications;
- strict, least-privilege access controls, so access to customer data is limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, and is logged and closely scrutinized;
- ongoing monitoring and operational safeguards.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Where we act as a processor on behalf of a customer, we will refer requests from that customer's end-users to the relevant customer (the controller) and support them in responding. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@trywired.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date, and will provide additional notice for material changes.
